Activities done by Rajbhasha Vibhag CLW/Chittaranjan from January, 2024 to December, 2024

January, 2024

1.  Hindi typing test was conducted on 08.01.2024 at Technical Training Centre/Chittaranjan by Rajbhasha/CLW under Hindi Teaching Scheme. 14 trainees were given training in Hindi typing, in which 13 trainees have  given Hindi typing test.

February, 2024

1. On 22.02.2024, the employees of the Steel foundry office were given training on the model of industrialization to work in Hindi and comments were made in Hindi in which the employees were given training on the table to remove the mistakes.

March, 2024

1. During March, 2024, the telephone communication of Public Relations Department CLW was translated from English to Hindi.

 

2. Second Prize Rail Mantri Rajbhasha shield for outstanding work in Hindi during the year   2022 was awarded to CLW/Chittaranjan by Railway Board on dated 22.03.2024.

 

 

 

 

April, 2024

 

1. During the month of April, 2024, the 155th meeting of the Official Language Implementation Committee was held on 02.04.2024 under the chairmanship of General Manager/CLW. In this meeting, various aspects related to the use and promotion of official language in daily office work in the CLW administration were discussed and the minutes of the previous meeting were reviewed.

 

2. Five employees who did commendable work in Hindi in the quarter of October-December, 2023 were awarded in the 155th meeting of the Official Language Implementation Committee.

 

 

 

3. Mahadevi Verma's birth anniversary was also celebrated in the said meeting of Chireeka Rakas. In which a power point presentation on the biography of Mahadevi Verma was shown by the Official Language Department and all the officers present in the meeting also recited the poems of Mahadevi Verma.

 

 

 

4. To promote working in Hindi, a one-day Hindi workshop was organized on 30 April 2024 for Hindi coordinators.

 

 

 

 

 

May, 2024

 

1. On 21.05.2024, counseling was done to encourage the employees of the Personnel Department to work in Hindi and table training was given to the employees to overcome the difficulties in writing comments in Hindi.
2. On 27.05.2024, the Sant Kabir Das Hindi Library located in the Medical Department was inspected and the Hindi related work being done in the medical office was also inspected. The employees of this department were given desk training to perform work smoothly in Hindi.

 

 

June, 2024

 

1. On 21.06.2024, a Hindi workshop was organized for the officers and employees of CLW at the Technical Training Center. In this workshop, the officers and employees were made aware of the topic "How to work in Hindi in e-office" on computers.

 

2. During the month, the 156th meeting of CLW Official Language Implementation Committee (RAKAS) was held on 26.06.2024 under the chairmanship of General Manager/CLW. In this meeting, various aspects related to the use and dissemination of official language in daily office work in CLW administration were discussed and the minutes of the previous meeting were reviewed.

 

3. After the commencement of the meeting, the birth anniversary of Sant Kabir das Ji was celebrated and, on this occasion, some glimpses related to his biography were shown through a power-point presentation by the Official Language Department.

 

4. Five employees who did commendable work in Hindi in the quarter January-March, 2024 were awarded in the 156th meeting of OLIC.
5. The 42nd issue of CLW's magazine "Ajay Dhara" was released by the General Manager/CLW.

 

  

July, 2024

 

1. Hindi Speech Competition was organized on 16.07.2024, Hindi Note and Draft Writing Competition on 18.07.2024 and Hindi Essay Competition on 23.07.2024 for Hindi and non-Hindi speaking employees at regional level in CLW/Chittaranjan at Mahakavi Tulsidas General Library, General Manager's Office. Railway employees securing first position in these competitions will represent CLW in the competition to be held at Inter Railway level.

 

2. Hindi Drama Competition was organized at Technical Training Centre in CHIRECA on 18.07.2024. In this competition, the drama "Santras" was staged by 'Antarik Sanstha'. This drama will represent CLW in the Drama Competition to be held at Inter Railway level.

 

August, 2024

 

1. To increase the use of Rajbhasha and to enhance the Hindi knowledge of the employees, display of five Hindi-English words per day was started at three places in CLW. One of these boards has been done by scrolling at the entrance of the General Manager's office and the second board has been installed at the factory office and the third board at the EDP Centre of Computer Bhawan.

 

2. On 21.08.2024, counselling was done to encourage the employees of the sections of the Works office to work in Hindi and table training was given to the employees to overcome the difficulties in writing comments in Hindi.

 

September, 2024

 

1. Rajbhasha Hindi Pakhwada, 2024 was organized at CLW/Chittaranjan from 05.09.2024 to 23.09.2024. The following programs were organized on this occasion.

 

• On 05.09.2024, the General Manager/CLW inaugurated the Rajbhasha Pakhwada, 2024 by lighting the lamp. In which self-composed Hindi poetry recitation was organized for the officers. Along with this, Hindi slogan competition was organized for the employees in the first session and Hindi typing competition in the second session.

 

• On 06.09.2024, Hindi dictation competition was organized for non-Hindi speaking mployees.

 

• On 09.09.2024, self-composed Hindi poetry recitation competition was organized for the employees.

 

• On 10.09.2024, Hindi quiz competition was organized for the employees.

 

• The 157th meeting of the CLW Official Language Implementation Committee (RAKAS) was held on 11.09.2024 under the chairmanship of General Manager/CLW. In this meeting, various aspects related to the use and dissemination of official language in daily office work in CLW administration were discussed and the minutes of the previous meeting were reviewed.

 

• After the commencement of the 157th meeting of OLIC on 11.09.2024, the birth anniversary of Dushyant Kumar ji was celebrated and, on this occasion, some glimpses related to his biography were shown through a power-point presentation by the Official Language Department.

 

• Five employees who did commendable work in Hindi in the quarter of April-June, 2024 were awarded in the 157th meeting of OLIC.

 

• On the occasion of the closing ceremony of Rajbhasha Pakhwada, 2024, a street play and regional kavi sammelan and prize distribution program was organized in the Badhwar Hall of the Technical Training Center located at CLW / Chittaranjan on 23.09.2024.

 

October, 2024

 

1. Desk training was given to the employees of the personnel department of the works office to overcome the difficulties in writing correspondence and comments in Hindi.

 

November, 2024

 

1. On 28.11.2024, desk training was given to the employees of the personnel department of the office to overcome the difficulties in writing correspondence and comments in Hindi.
