Condemned/Surplus M&P Proposed for Sale
VendorMeet- 17thJanuary 2018 at CLW A Vendor Meet was organized by CLW on 17th January, 2018 in the Chittaranjan Club. Agenda of Vendor Meet :
  • Critical items needed at enhanced rate of supply during Jan –March 2018 (about 150 LS)
  • Reverse Auction

  • Performance based ordering in phases –RC model
  • Purchase preference to “Make in India” under Govt of India’s PPO 2017

  • Discussion on suggestions received from Vendors

About 134 vendors from all over the India including Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), official from BHEL, ABB, Siemens, Medha, Texmaco, CGL, NBC & other approved sources / new sources have participated in the meet. Presentation on materials requirement, development of items, progress in digitization, long term contracting, purchase preference to MSE and local suppliers under PPO and cost reduction was given by Stores Department. Procedure for vendor development, monitoring of warranty rejections and new technological development was discussed and presented by D&D/ CLW.

Meet was attended by all the concerned officers of Electrical, Stores, Mechanical and Finance and addressed by S.K. Rai, PCMM, A.K. Singhal, PCEE, R. Arora, PCME and Ashok Kumar, CVO and other Senior Officers. Meeting was concluded with the address by Shri V.P. Pathak, General Manager highlighting the initiative taken by CLW for broadening the vendor base, development of new vendors, long term contracting and performance base ordering for selected items and digitization of purchase processes.

The participating Vendors interacted about the various concerning issues, visited the Shop and Stores area to see the various items/manufacturing activities of their interest and also submitted feedback which is summarised as under
