::VENDORS MEET ORGANISED IN CLW::
A Vendors Meet was organized by Chittaranjan Locomotive Works (CLW) in the Chittaranjan Club in CLW on 13 May 2022.The objective of the meet is to develop new vendors especially for imported items as well as enhancing the existing vendor base and to enhance the coordination & cooperation with existing vendors. All imported items, High value items and items for which very few approved sources are available were showcased. Emphasis was given on the concept of "Atmanirbhar Bharat" & ways to make it a success.
Shri Satish Kumar Kashyup, General Manager inaugurated the meet and visited the items physically displayed to elicit interest from vendors for developing these items. Shri R P Mishra, PCEE, Shri A K Verma, PCMM and other officials were present in the meet. Shri S. K. Kashyup, General Manager, in his speech, exhorted the gathering to come forward for business with Indian Railways which is revamping its massive expansion of vendors’ base. Shri Kashyup urged them to get themselves associated with Indian Railway's considering themselves as Business Partners to add to CLW's transformation drive for realizing the targets assigned by Board for production of Rolling Stock to the Production Units of Indian Railways. Shri Mahesh Kumar CMM/Mechanical and Shri A Chakraborty CEE/ Design gave presentation in respective areas on the subject. Over 80 firms from all across the country actively participated in the Meet.
