Introduction
The Vigilance Department is headed by Chief Vigilance Officer of the Chittaranjan Locomotive Works, Chittaranjan. He is assisted by Dy. Chief Vigilance Officer.
The Vigilance department assists the organization in curbing corruption by way of carrying out preventive checks and investigate complaints received from public or from own employees. Complaints are investigated after verifying the genuineness of the complaint. The vigilance department is mandated to fight corruption and to ensure integrity in public administration. The department promotes integrity in the governance process by creation of a credible deterrence against corruption through prompt enforcement of anti-corruption laws and regulations.
