Railway Board vide letter no. 2015/EnHM/06/06 Dt 03-02-2016 has issued policy guidelines to promote participation of corporate in works relating to Environmental Sustainability, Sanitation and certain passenger amenities at Railway Stations through CSR fund.
Chittaranjan Locomotive Works (CLW) is a premier Locomotive production unit of Indian Railways. CLW township consist of workshop equipped with facilities for production of state of the art 3 Phase Locomotives, Steel Foundry, various linked offices including Administrative Office and Works office, Residential Colonies, markets, banks, etc. The 18.34 Sq. km CLW township has a green cover of 270.363 hectares.
There is an ample opportunity in Chittaranjan Locomotive works in which corporate may participate in works related to Environment Sustainability, Sanitation etc through CSR Funding.
